SMOKING. QUIT.

I'm just too irritated that I cannot help but rant. Seriously. I feel like it hit my ultimate tolerance that I have for this stupid thing. Maybe i'll offend people with my words but think in the shoes of people like us NON SMOKERS,

HOW THE HELL ARE WE NOT OFFENDED EVERY FREAKING TIME WE WALK RIGHT INTO CIGARETTE SMOKE AND CHOKE AND COUGH OUR LUNGS OUT?? HUH?? 

This might only apply to people who are inconsiderate smokers but whatever. Smoking is way out of my league and its smth that I would never encourage others to do. I hated it when my dad smoked in the past so i'm not biased in any way regarding this issue. 

People need to realise that its not okay to smoke WHILE WALKING on the pedestrian pathway along the road. That freaking pathway is a public area where kids and the elderly and every other person walks on all the time. Imagine walking behind an inconsiderate smoker and breathing in all that DIRTY air that's supposedly giving you guys that so called "stress relieve" or "pleasure" or whatever??? Not that I give a damn about it. 

Number two. People need to realise that it is not okay to smoke beside the poor dustbin that is always located in the vicinity of a bus stop. (PUBLIC AREA YO. YOU DON'T OWN THE BUS STOP AND JUST SO YOU KNOW, SMOKE DOES TRAVEL PEOPLE.) Omg I can't contain my anger right now. You know those times when smokers smoke beside a bus stop, thinking that its away from the bus stop, when its actually just beside it, just because that area that they are smoking at is not covered by the bus stop shelter and the smoke travels to the area where commuters are waiting for their buses. YES IT TRAVELS. DIFFUSE OR WHATEVER. Not intending to go into Brownian Motion theory now. -.-

Last but not least, one of the most disturbing part of my rant is that people actually smoke outside of schools. Like right outside. Its so disturbing in a way that its outside a school and a school is supposed to be like a decent and somewhat sacred place for education and learning but people just smoke right outside like nobody's business. #^%*&^%$#@!@#$%^ IRRESPONSIBLE AND INCONSIDERATE ACTIONS. I don't think i'm being old fashioned or not liberal or whatever in this sense cos it really isn't supposed to be this way. To be very honest. 

Adverse health effects aside. How well does it portray you as a person when you are seen holding a cigarette and taking in puffs of smoke by the walkway? It shows a lot mind you. If people haven't realised how bad it portrays them as a person, I hope somebody tells them that sooner. 

I'm not saying that just by judging a person at whether he/she smokes makes them a bad person but think about it. How responsible and good are you to yourself when you smoke? If you can't be responsible for your own health, or even be bothered to take care of yourself, how responsible are you when it comes to other things? Its just like what comes out of your mouth about other people, just that few comments shows what kind of a person you are. One thing often leads to another and from various verbal comments, gestures and actions defines you as a person. Everything is practically down to the kind of image that you portray in front of other people. From there, people are going to judge you and the kind of person you are. Maybe not all the time that it'll be accurate but i'm trying to say that more often than not this is the case. 

I just think that smoking is smth that shouldn't even be invented in the first place. Its so so so so so so so harmful to your health. Really. 

There's so much more to life than smoking really. You don't want to shorten your life unnecessarily for the sake of smoking right?? 

Take charge of your life today. 

Quit smoking. For good.
